I have a few tips for you to insure your photo session success!
1. Accessorize! Add in lots of accessories like scarves, hats, shades, vests, belts and jewelry. It’s easy to take them off and layer them to change up the look of your photos quickly. Pops of color are always in fashion!
2. Say no to flip flops! I’m a flip flop lover, but they’re a no-go on photo day. Opt for heels. They’ll make your legs look longer and leaner.
3. Leave the sunscreen out of your beauty routine today. It can make your face glowy-white in pictures. Also, check your make up to ensure there’s no sunscreen in it.
4. Wear a little more blush on picture day than usual, to prevent a washed-out look.
5. A little powder will help keep the shine down. Speaking of shine, we all love glitter, but leave off the sparkly eye shadow today. It won’t show up in pictures very well and could settle in creases that will show—in a bad way!
6. If you wear eyeliner, don’t apply it on your water line. This can make your eyes appear smaller. Stay very close to the lashes and you’ll be much happier with the look.
7. If you don’t have time for a professional manicure, at least do a polish check. If it’s chippy and pealing, either take it off and re-do it, or take it off all together. It seems like a small thing, but fresh polish can really bump things up a notch!
